Bennett
Bennett is a boys name.
It is said BEN et.
It means blessed it is derived from Benedict.
Popularity: #175 in Canada (Alberta) #275 in Canada (British Columbia) #361 in United States
Variants/Nicknames: Benett, Benedict, Bennet, Benet
Comments on Bennett:
A great alternative to Benjamin if you’d prefer something less common and bit snappier and more anglo. Underutilized and the nn “ben” is great.
If I wanted to use the nickname Ben for a future son, I’d choose this name over Benjamin. This name is relatively uncommon and is easy to say.

Roman praenomen, or given name, which is of unknown meaning, possibly related to Latin titulus “title of honour”. In the New Testament Titus was a companion ofSaint Paul. He became the first bishop of Crete and was the recipient of one of Paul’s epistles. This name was also borne by a 1st-century Roman emperor. It was later used by Shakespeare for the main character in his tragedy ‘Titus Andronicus’ (1593). As an English name, Titus has been occasionally used since theProtestant Reformation. (behindthename.com)
nameberry.com– Slightly forbidding Roman, New Testament, and Shakespearean name brought back to contemporary life by the TV series Titus 2000. Could possibly be swept along by the antiquity trend.

Titus Flavius Vespasianus, commonly known as Titus (December 30, 39 – September 13, 81), was the tenth Roman Emperor, who reigned from 79 until his death in 81. Titus was the second emperor of the Flavian dynasty, which ruled the Roman Empire between 69 and 96, encompassing the reigns of Titus’s father Vespasian (69–79), Titus himself (79–81) and his younger brother Domitian (81–96).
