I adore Greer Ruby (though I prefer the spelling ‘Grier’), but I don’t really like her siblings’ names, especially Brittany, or think they go particularly well with hers. Scarlett Grace is the exace same name as my little sister’s 🙂 Annie, Mary and Katherine are quite cute, especially if they call the new baby Katie for short. Archie and Freddy are sweet, Sierra is pretty but I loathe Ashleigh, particularly spelt lieke that. Cameron Oliver is nice enough, and Neve and Fern are gorgeous 🙂

I like Gier too am really starting to love it. I prefer it Niamh though I do like Neva.

Niamh is okay, but it would be a real hassle. So many people say Nee-am it’s just not funny. My grandma, even, who has a generally excellent knowledge of all thing name and word related, didn’t believe me when I told her it’s pronounced Neve. So, in light of that, I definitely prefer Neve. Neva is cute too, and I really like Nova also. I know three little sisters called Lily, Summer and Nova. Very pretty names I think 🙂

I have never heard anyone say Nee-am. Maybe its not a kiwi thing?… I used to really like Nova but gone off it lately I like Nola, Nina & Nuala though 🙂

I can’t say I much fancy Nola and Nuala, I USED to like Nina, but I’ve gone a bit off it lately for some reason. Ninas I know are Ella and Nina; Fushia, Nina, Jasper and Charlie; Ines, Nina and Leonard (Lenny); Beni, Niko, Nina (Ninette), Viliame and Joshua. Do you know any/many Ninas?

I know one Nina at my centre, also there was one on a kindy placement I had. Fushia is interesting but seems odd with Nina, Jasper & Charlie. Beni, Niko and Nina is nice but Niko and Nina share similar sounds.

Yes the last five are all siblings. Her real name is Ninette but she’s known by everyone as Nina so I thought I’d just slip it in 🙂

I blame actress Greer Robson for use on girls over the years here in NZ and then Brooke Shield’s came along with her daughter. I can only see it as a Gregor surname.
I’ve never heard Niamh here as anything other than NEEV. I guess Kiwis are more aware of it although I’m still peeved Isla still gets IZ la occasionally and her name is far more common than Niamh it’s not funny.

IZ-La is crazy, most people say i as eye, I guess they don’t know that the s is silent maybe.

Her rather cute daughters are Sienna and Indigo.
The hospital was the worst for saying IZ la. We had lots of check ups and x-rays for Isla’s hips and people rarely got it right.
Sorry about that. I like to post the new BAs fairly regularly and I really cannot commit to that in the near future. Still, I can get my Kiwi fix here now so all is good. I know you are a rather busy woman yourself but I honestly don’t know when I’m going to get any time on the computer, aside from some quick browsing, come May!

She has a single parent thing in treasures or some other magazine I think cause I remember regularly seeing pics of her girls they are cute!
Thats okay I understand it must be crazy busy with kids, bet your bump is getting big now, gosh it has gone quickly!
