Name for 3rd January- Bede

English: Modern form of the Old English name Baeda, possibly related to Old English bed “prayer”. Saint Bede, called the Venerable Bede, was an 8th-century historian, scholar and Doctor of the Church. (Behindthename.com)

Stop tempting me with with fabulous names!

The only reservation I have is that people might think I’m saying “peed”! Also, the general unfamiliarity with St Bede, the man, is annoying although I guess in a way that’s a bonus as he is a very ambitious namesake. Some might say over-the-top. Hardly a wallflower in history 😛

Sorry! hehe our new car is “Bede” we were thinking about what suited it and I can’t remember if it was Hubby or me who thought of Bede, our old car was Betsey.
Isla, Conor & Bede is lovely 😛 Just elongate the B at the start then no-one will think of peed!
