I feel like I’m commenting too much since I’ve already said my kids’ names. But anyway, again, my OWN son Abraham’s siblings are Sebastian, Malachi, and Daisy.

And of your list, I LOVE and have considered: Cecily, Genevieve, Juniper, Marigold, and Violet for girls, and Benjamin, Gabriel, Gideon, Orlando, Raphael, Theodore, Tennyson for boys. Those are all on our list if we have more kids.

Comment away πŸ™‚ I love conversations about names πŸ™‚ Oh you have a Daisy πŸ™‚ how gorgeous! What are her middles?
I must be on the right track with similar feel names for brothers and sisters for Abraham πŸ™‚ if you like a few of them.

Thanks πŸ™‚ I love to think of possible siblings to names, I think a good sibset is one where name’s have similar style and seem to fit πŸ™‚
I think we must have similar taste cause I like quite a few of those too πŸ™‚

I’m a fan of the more fanciful suggestions paired with Abraham. Tallulah & Magnolia are both a lot of fun, and I think they make Abraham feel fresh.

I agree for sisters πŸ™‚ what others would you put with Abraham πŸ™‚ those two make me think of swirly skirts on a summer day πŸ™‚

I’d initially lean towards something equally (or near enough) stoic and stodgy-esque like Barnabas or Octavius. However, it’s such a heavy Old Testament choice, I think it needs something livelier. Lots on your list qualify but I don’t like the surname Preston, sorry. It doesn’t help that it’s a smelly meat rendering plant in the Wellington area.

I love Olive, Juniper, Marigold and Juniper is on the list for this kid so I fully support those. I can’t believe Hazel is in our top 100. Who’d have thought it? I haven’t seen any around.

Ew well that puts me off Preston lol πŸ˜› my association is Preston Burke off Grey’s Anatomy. Barnabas & Octavius would be lovely. What do you think about Barclay? I saw that on your blog πŸ™‚
I have meet two Hazel’s both will be 3 now! One blonde, hazel eyes the other brown hair and hazel eyes. My Granddad’s sister (Dad’s side) is Hazel, Hazel is on our list I love it, I would name twins Juno & Hazel, what do you think? Hows your names going?

I could get behind Juno and Hazel. Very cool.

The only Hazel I know of was a friend of my mother’s and step-father’s so she’d be about 50 now. A complete hippie too πŸ˜‰

I think as far as Bar- names go I prefer Barnaby to Barclay. A workmate had adult children: Barnaby, Keziah and Jude. Jude was the oldest and a girl. Mum and Dad were devout Christians also. Lovely people. Anyway, having seen Barnaby on a real life and rather handsome dude, it appeals more now.

Haven’t really moved on from Sylvie, Ivy, Silke or Bede. I think I will push a bit harder when I have a go at finding out the sex with the second ultrasound. Which, I need to book in for just prior to New Years. Midwife was a stickler for the 20 weeks exactly. Some women get them at 18 weeks so I did sulk a little about that πŸ˜› My Nan and MIL wanted to know before Christmas.

Juno & Hazel both have that hippy feel to me πŸ™‚
I do prefer Barnaby but hubby has gone off it 😦 maybe if I keep mentioning it I can convince him to put it back on the list! Jude on a girl seems very strange to me. Kezia is nice I went to school with one, Kezia, Jessica & Ezra. I like Barney for short too πŸ™‚
Oh that sucks that the midwife wouldn’t sneak you in a little further no far! Do you have a feeling what bub is? Bede is gorgeous and so is Sylvie!

Thanks. I think it’s a boy. Everyone else is saying girl.

I always thought she was a Judith nn Jude but I’m fairly sure she was a stand alone Jude.
