Roman Mythology: Means “love, sexual desire” in Latin. This was the name of the Roman goddess of love, equal to the Greek goddess Aphrodite. This is also the name of the second planet from the sun (Behindthename.com)
I don’t like this name, I find it quite tacky almost. Its meaning great, but the sound, the name, no I’m not sold on it. If you had to use it, keep it to the middle name
I knew one and she wasn’t the most brilliant namesake. I think it’s extremely heavy but then Freya is ultra popular in some places and she has just as much saucy baggage 😛
Pretty name although I think it’s best left as a middle.
Oh and it reminds me of The Feelers song. She’d have it sung to her all the time 🙂
It is very daring isn’t it 🙂 I love it from the Feelers song, we saw them in Christchurch and I could reach out and touch them it was in the Civic. I also saw Opshop there.

I like it as both a first and middle. I love it from the Feelers song.

If you love the song (and the band) that’s a bonus.
