My favourite here without a doubt is Alice Guinevere! She’s pretty yet streamlined and Guinevere’s whimsicality lightens Alice’s classic nature. She’s awesome πŸ™‚ I like Alice Guinevere Violet too.

My favourite 3 name combo would have to be Alice Lucinda Poppy. I usually am impartial to Lucinda (as well as Lucia and Louisa and the like), but here she compliments well and shines πŸ™‚ Alice is classic and no frills, whilst Lucinda is a bit more overtly feminine and regal and Poppy is very buoyant and full of zest, maknig the perfect contrast in my eye!

I’m also fairly partial to Alice Magdalena Pearl and Alice Floretta Mary, though I find Floretta rather fussy.

Of yourse you can πŸ™‚ I’m glad you liked it – If I ever suggest anything you like, just add it – If I didn’t want people using it, I wouldn’t write it up in cyber space πŸ™‚ hehehee!

I’ve adored Alice since I was about 7 years old! But I sacrificed her for Iris grr. If I could use her, my top combos I think would be Alice Viola Primrose & Alice Lula Madelief!

Dan loves Alice too, but yeah, he marginally prefered Iris, and we thought she sounded a little better with Matilda and Oliver, so we ultimately chose her! Also, we didn’t really have any Alice combos we loved at the time, so Iris eventually won!

Yeah, I’ve seen Lola mention it a while ago. I liked it then, but not enough to use it. Since then I’ve seen it many times and actually found one in DH’s family tree when his mum overhead me talking about the name – so I’ve definitely warmed to her! I like Lula too, though I think she’s a little insubstantial soundng with my kids names – Alice Lula Madelief I love to bits, though L & M together does come across a little loopy, I must admit.

Do you have any names you’d love to use, but can’t?! It’s so frustrating πŸ™‚ Iris ruled Silas out for me too!

Ooh – I forgot to mention. Madelief is dutch and it means Daisy, which I just fnd really sweet as well, especially with the unintentional flower theme going on in my DDs’ names! πŸ™‚

Aww maybe you will still get to use Alice πŸ™‚ Alice Lula Madeleif sounds like honey πŸ™‚ Lola hasn’t been over for awhile she did visit for awhile, she has great combos, have you viisted her site? you can get there off my links πŸ™‚
umm I can’t think of any off the top of my head, but I guess it harder when names are added to a sibset of kids already born and when you already have kids when they sound similar πŸ™‚ I like some old names that hubby doesn’t I like Oswald right now not sure if its usable hubby says its okay but we’ve got lots on our list I think he gets sick of my constant baby name crazyness hehe, he is very good though he has lots of opinions about names πŸ™‚

Yeah, I’m trying to place her in the middle somewhere – so far I’ve got Viola Alice Cleophee or Sylvie Alice Clementine.

Oswald is really jazzy and suave. I probably wouldn’t use him myself, but I’d be joyed to hear him on a little boy amongst the Lachlans, Rileys and Jacks! I personally hate finding boys names! It’s agonizing for me. boys I don’t like enough of, and girls I like too many- waay too imbalanced πŸ™‚

I wish Dan had more of an opinion about names sometimes! I’m lucky because we have fairly similar tastes, but he isn’t as fussed as I am. Usually, I just go to him with a suggestion and he says yes or no! (DH saying no is rare though~) He seems to dislike the same types of names I do though, so that’s good.

Do you and your husband have clashed over names? or similar tastes? I don’t know what I’d do if we had different tastes !

I like Sylvie Alice Clementine πŸ™‚ I always spell Sylvie wrong!! I think Oswald would be fresh too πŸ™‚ I find boys names harder too I’m more picky with the boys I like strong names, not unisex ones! It good Dan is usually agrees with you that must make it easy πŸ™‚ there’s some old names that I like that Corie doesn’t off the top of my head Winifred & Millicent. His rules are, most common spelling and preferably be able to have a nickname so not many πŸ™‚
