I like: Isabelle and Sophie Beatrix; Jonty, Olive and Ruby Jane (two of my stepsisters are called Ruby and Olive, and my friend’s name is Ruby Jane); Lucy Annabel; Violet Valentine (I love double initials); Maya and Cleo Eloise (lately I’ve really been loving the name Eloise..); Clementine; Stella Lily and Evie Violet (..and Evie); Valentina Marie (Valentina is divine, and you don’t hear it much in this part of the world); James, Francis, Mia and Esther Rose.
Also, a Belgian family has moved to our town and their kids, Vitor and Pilar, go to this school too. I thought they were pretty cute names. Another recent addition to a local family was Olive, sister to Spencer
At my little sisters’ school there’s a little kindy boy called Amos who has a newborn sister called Mara Grace. I just thought that was an interesting sibset, so I wanted to share it with you

Amos is a cool name makes me think of Tori Amos. Mara is pretty too. Vitor is a boy, what is Pilar? I like Olive!

Pilar is a girl I think, I dont’ actually know them personally but I know Pilar as a girls’ name, with Spanish origins I think, pronounced Pee-lar. I quite like it
I really like Mara Grace; it’s understated but still pretty and feminine. Grace as a first name icks me a bit, but I somehow love it as a middle name. I don’t know why. As you know I’m very particular with my likes and dislikes

Hehe me too! I still like Grace upfront but would love to see Pearl, Rose or Jane more
Pilar is quite pretty

Pearl and Rose are lovely up front or in the middle, I think. Jane I would only ever use as a middle name. My mum’s middle name is Jane.

My niece’s middle is Jane. I like the baby Jane off “Outrageous Fortune.”

It actually IS pretty cute for a baby, all old-school and whatnot. I met a girl on the weekend called Sally, aged 5, which was cute. A friend of my mums has a daughter who is about 9 and has a friend the same age who is called Thelma. I think that’s a bit far- too frumpy and unfeminine.
But in general I like timeless/old-fashioned names. I know an Edith (Edie), a Frances, an Ada, a few Audreys, some Violets, some Olives, a Rupert, a couple of Pearls, countless Rubys and a couple of Annabelles

Thelma is very old fashioned but you never know in ten years! I have been loving Maude lately!
I still like Ada but Ava has been so popular!
I have been liking Francis on a boy lately! What do you think of Francesca?

PS, Also I just remember two sisters I vaguely know, called Stormy and Heaven-Lee. Yikes.

Maude is cute, the guy who makes the movies like Knocked Up, Funny People, etc, has two little girls called Maude and Iris which I think is cute. I like both Ada and Ava, and seeing as Ava isn’t very popular where I live I don’t have the offput of popularity. Francis is adorable, and Frankie is a cute nickname. I know a family with five kids: Jack, Izrael (girl), Sequani (boy), Henri and Francis
Francesca is gorgeous, kind of a more exotic version of Frances. Once again Frankie makes a cute nickname. My friend Ruby has a friend called Francesca who goes by the nickname Checker. Kinda funny.

I knew that
Maude & Iris are gorgeous!
Henry and Francis are nice together I prefer Henry to Henri.
I don’t like Frankie but I like Frank as a nickname!
Checker is a funny nickname!

I like Maude and Iris too
I also prefer Henry to Henri. Henri looks like it should be said the French way. I love Frankie! As a name in itself or as a nickname for Francesca/Frances/Francis. Frank is kinda cute too.
