What do you think of Shiloh? Do you prefer it for boy or girl? I think girl because of Shiloh (Jolie-Pitt?)
My friend is named Chyloe (pronounced the same as Shiloh. Also named for the Neil Diamond song (babynamewizard) yuck hehe that spelling puts me right off.

Shiloh? Blargh! It’s still the name of the bloodiest battlefield of the Civil War in my head and so not suitable for anything, including a dog. Maybe for a goldfish. Chyloe makes me want to cry; pretty sound, non-intuitive looking spelling and oh so very unprofessional looking to boot. I have to ask, how does your friend like her name, overall?
